Every car is different and is driven differently by its driver but one thing that remains the same, no matter the make, model, or age of the vehicle and that is the need for regular servicing and maintenance.
Most vehicle manufacturers recommend having a full service every 12 months or at a certain mileage.
Rather than have set price servicing we offer a totally bespoke service. We have access to all vehicle manufacturers makes and models service schedules so we check the age and mileage of your car and let you know what is recommended.
Its important to remember that at different ages and/or mileages often extra checks or services are recommended, with the flip side being that we would suggest a smaller service if the miles had not yet reached those required for a full service.
Should I check my car in-between services?
There are some extra checks you should do to keep everything running smoothly and to be sure that your vehicle is running safely.
- Screen wash — make sure this is topped up and working as it should.
- Tyres — every couple of weeks, check that that your tyre pressures are correct, inspect the tread depth to make sure it is within legal requirement and check for cracks or bulges.
- Oil — every week, check your engine oil level by using the dipstick.
- Lights — every week, and before long journeys, do a routine check that all your lights and indicators are operating properly.
- Bodywork and windscreen — make sure to keep an eye out for any signs of damage on the bodywork, or chips and cracks on the windscreen. Windscreen damage should be repaired as soon as possible.
