Returned to have a tyre plug /repair checked that I recently discovered.
Tyre was removed and the repair was assessed and reinforced to give assurance.
Again, quickly dealt with and friendly, honest service including re balancing and a full tyre pressure check.

Hit pothole on way to Lavenham on a Friday evening. AA chap recommended Tread First to us, after fitting his space saver spare. Turned up on the Saturday morning hoping they had a tyre. Was told yes but only a named brand and that there would be a wait. Expected it to be an hour plus before car would go into workshop. Pleasantly surprised to learn this wait would actually only be half an hour before work finished.
Very efficient for an ad hoc customer.
Ruined tyre replaced and AA spare wheel put into boot on my protective mat.

This garage scammed my friend a single mum, charged her over 2000 pounds to get her car through the MOT instead of being honest with her and advising her to sell for scrap as it's an old ford c max, she's had to get a loan out to pay for the repairs and now it's broken down again she's had to sell for scrap and stuck with the debt, not good.

After a couple of poor experiences with competitors, I went out of my way to take my truck to Sudbury and it was well worth it. Booking was easy, advice was spot on, and despite being extremely busy the staff were friendly, efficient, and made me feel valued.

Absolute joke, messed my tracking up on my van, steering wheel after was as 30° to the right and couldn't sort it, came out with loads of excuses such as, 'there is a sensor on your steering which after the tracking is done can sometimes turn the steering wheel back to where it was!' After they'd done it 5 times on the test drive it was then pulling to the right, excuse this time was ' those new tyres are really grippy and can sometimes do that!' And 1 guy said to me ' cause your van has done 175,000 miles it MUST have worn ball joints AND track rod ends, w this is 95% the problem in his opinion!'
Funny it flew through an mot the next morning!!

We fitted 2 tyres on 5th June and carried out a wheel alignment You were unhappy with the alignment, and we did try to align the wheels to your satisfactionOur equipment is properly maintained and calibrated but, it would seem that, we couldn’t align the wheels on your Transit to your satisfaction.When you left you said you would see how you got on with it.On 17th June you let us know that you were still unhappy, so we issued a full refund for the cost of the wheel alignment.Sorry we couldn’t help you.

I've had mostly positive expirences with these guys, however my most recent visit was not pleasent. I called up to have the tracking looked at on my car, I've had other steering issues with it and thought I'd try having the tracking done as proccess of elemination. The guy asked if I wanted the rear checked as well, I said they could try but it'll probably be rusted solid, he agreed. (18 year old car etc). Anyway I booked it in for the same day, when I got there I told them I was here for my tracking and the guy at the desk didn't look best pleased. When he went out the back to tell the people in the work shop one of them visibly sighed. Whilst I was waiting I could hear them complaining about me coming back in the background, saying stuff like "It's the same as it was before" (hadn't taken the car in for a good 6-8 months). Also the guy who anwsered the phone call moaning that I suggested they check the rear tracking, implying I was stupid for suggesting that and generally moaning about me being there. I'm sorry but I'm a paying customer paying towards your wages, If you're gonna moan about me using your services then I won't be coming back! Usually these guys are perfectly friendly but I guess not this time, I've already had negative expirences with their service department, so won't be coming back again.

Dear Will The Team at Sudbury say they are sorry that you are upset. They say that they remember you coming in and worry that you have misconstrued what they said. You came in a couple of weeks before and unfortunately, we did not have availability to be able to help you so you said you would try elsewhere.The Team said they remembered you coming in and then made a comment that ‘this was the vehicle that came in a couple of weeks ago’ They also remembered that you came in a few months back with an oil leak. They said that they didn’t say anything untoward and think you have misconceived what was said. We are really sorry that you felt unhappy as customer service is very important to us. We hope you will give us a chance again in the future.

Really good service and fair pricing. I visited Treadfirst as I had a puncture. I initially went to Kwik Fit - (as that’s where I bought my tyres from previously) - but they couldn’t help me for hours. So went to Treadfirst and they looked at my tyre within minutes of arriving- unfortunately the tyre was not repairable and needed replacing and fortunately had one on stock. The new tyre was cheaper than what i had previously purchased and I was in/out within 30 minutes. I will certainly now be using TF moving forward

Had some issues with my girlfriends Audi A3 suspension that made tracking the car extremely difficult, plus a change in wheel size. The knowledgable and friendly staff were persistent when I bought the car back because it didn’t feel right. They didn’t let the car leave until it was bang on, we need more garages like this. Thanks lads!
