Computerised Wheel Alignment
If you have noticed that your vehicle has started ‘pulling’ to one side while you are out on the road or that there’s excessive wear on your front tyres, there’s a high chance that your wheels have become misaligned. Not only can this affect the handling of your car, but it can also lead to an increase in fuel consumption.
At Treadfirst, our highly experienced vehicle technicians use specialist 4 wheel alignment equipment to correct the positioning of your wheels and restore optimum handling, extended tyre life and improved fuel economy.
Using precision engineering, our computerised wheel alignment adjusts your wheels to the manufacturer’s original specifications, preventing them from wearing prematurely.
Electronic Wheel Tracking
We only use the latest technology and equipment to adjust the alignment of your wheels for controlled handling and a smooth, safe drive. At Treadfirst, we offer two types of 4 wheel alignment:
- Front tracking/wheel alignment – this involves adjusting the front alignment to the manufacturer’s settings while lining up with the rear wheels.
- Rear tracking/wheel alignment (where adjustable) – this involves adjusting the front and rear alignments to the manufacturer’s settings. Rear wheel tracking can not be adjusted independently and must be incorporated with a front wheel tracking.
We pride ourselves on our unrivalled customer service and competitively priced work carried out at our branches in Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Saffron Walden, Diss, Haverhill and Sudbury. To find out more about our wheel alignment and wheel balancing services, please give us a call today.
