Tyre Technician

Role

Working in a busy environment

Tyre Fitting – to cars, vans and 4×4 within the workshop

Carry our wheel alignments on our specialist equipment

Brakes and Shock Absorbers and Suspension (not essential, training can be provided)

We work as a team and sometimes we may ask you to perform other related duties.

Skills/Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a tyre fitting role

Hours

Monday – Friday 8.00am –  5.30pm
Saturday 8.00am – 12.30pm with concessional leave on a rota basis

MOT Tester

Role

Carrying out MOT Testing at our modern testing facility

Skills/Qualifications

Qualified Tester Class IV (and ideally Class VII)

Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester

Role

The role comprises of a mix of MOT testing and repair work
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs or replacements
Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Skills/Qualifications

Qualified Tester Class IV (and ideally Class VII)

Proficient in vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques

Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems on all makes and models

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Good communication skills

Mobile Commercial & Agricultural Tyre Technician

Role

Our ideal candidate will live within 20-mile radius of any of our branches in Sudbury, Haverhill, Diss, Saffron Walden, Bury st Edmunds or Stowmarket.

 

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial and Agricultural Tyre Technician to join our busy team.

 

Duties will include attending roadside and customers sites to service, repair or replace commercial and agricultural tyres.

We carry out work for our customers throughout East Anglia but ideally the successful applicant will live in the Saffron Walden area.

Fully fitted company van, work wear and tools provided.

Skills/Qualifications

Experience in commercial / agricultural tyre fitting
Ability to follow instructions and strictly adhere to health and safety policy
Able to work on own initiative and as part as a team
Have a full UK driving licence
