AFC Sudbury

AFC (Amalgamated Football Club) Sudbury was formed on Tuesday 1st June 1999 from the amalgamation of Sudbury Town (founded 1885) and Sudbury Wanderers (founded 1958) making it then the newest senior club in East Anglia.

The first ever game was played at The Priory Stadium (the previous home of Town) on 17th July 1999 against a full Colchester United side in the Harwich Charity Cup Centenary Shield Semi-Final, and saw a 2-4 defeat after extra time in front of 397 spectators.

The club now plays at King’s Marsh, Brundon Lane, Sudbury

Sudbury Rugby Club

Sudbury Rugby Union Football Club is a rugby union club located in Great Cornard near Sudbury.

The first XV currently play in Regional 1 South East, a fifth tier league in the English rugby union system

Sudbury Rugby Club is an amazing organisation, with 24 teams ranging from men’s seniors to Under 6’s and tough rugby teams for younger boys and girls

Sudbury Bowls Club

The Sudbury Bowls Club was formed in 1913, and has become a proud institution since then, with bowlers participating in competitions at club, county and national level. The club also welcomes social players as well as competitive ones, and there’s a brilliant mix of experienced and novice players, all contributing to the welcoming, friendly atmosphere around the club.

Haverhill Borough FC

Haverhill Borough FC have enjoyed a rapid ascension through the leagues since starting life in 2011, moving into their new home ground, the 3G surfaces at New Croft, in 2017. Part of the brilliant football community around Haverhill, Borough have enjoyed multiple promotions and titles, scoring countless goals and embarking on incredible unbeaten runs and winning streaks along the way. We’re delighted to be a partner of Haverhill Golf Club. Opening as a 9-hole course in 1976, Haverhill’s course is a resplendent setting that caters for the needs of the club’s many members, ranging from casual to competitive players alike. It’s an honour to be associated with Halstead Town FC, a football club over 145 years old, currently competing in the Thurlow Nunn First Division South. A rich history lines the 140 years of the club, including knocking teams from higher divisions out of the FA Vase and winning cups and trophies.

We’re huge admirers of Saffron Walden Round Table and their commitment to and success in supporting local charities and initiatives. A fantastic club for men aged 18-45, the group meets regularly to socialise and organise fundraising events to support the community of Saffron Walden, including their much-loved ‘8 Day Weekend’ Carnival.

Saffron Walden 8 Day Weekend

We are delighted to sponsor the 8DayWeekend, an incredible Carnival organised by Saffron Walden Round Table every three years and located on the Common in the heart of Saffron Walden.

The Carnival dates back to the 1950s and has grown to the spectacle that we see today with 1000’s of people enjoying the festivities, including a sell-out Final Night Party.

Every single penny of profit made is donated to charities and good causes via the charitable trust of Saffron Walden Round Table.

Saffron Walden Rugby Club

With teams ranging from senior XVs to U6s, Saffron Walden Rugby Club is the go-to organisation for rugby fans in the area. Founded in the 1960s, the club has won the Cambridgeshire Cup multiple times during 60 years of entertaining fans and members alike.

Ipswich Town FC

We are proud and delighted to be a Regional Partner to our beloved club.

After 22 years outside of the Premier League, ‪Ipswich Town are back in the top flight of English football. Their journey, marked by highs and lows, saw the club endure relegation to League One in 2019 before a transformative takeover ignited a new era.

Needham Market FC

Needham Market FC are proud members of The Southern Football League, Eastern Counties Football League, Suffolk & Ipswich Football League and Eastern Counties Youth Football League. Their fantastic ground at Bloomfields also hosts Needham Market FC Women and Youth teams

Henry Cox

We are really proud to have been a main sponsor to Henry since he was 17 and racing with the East Anglian Schoolboys. Now 22, and a qualified Electrician, Henry rides a Honda 250CRF with the Halstead Motorcycle Club, he races at the ACU Eastern Centre in the adult championships. Qualifying sessions are graded A to D and super talented Henry is usually with the leaders and graded A

Ashley Shaw

Ashley Shaw has been racing on oval tracks since he was 8 years old, firstly starting in Ninja Karts and progressing to the Junior Hot Rod Formula. In 2020 Ashley became the Gold Roof Champion, the Southern Champion and the Points Champion.

Ashley and Reece (Manager of our Stowmarket branch) have been working on a new car and we wish Team 32 all the best for the season

Ashdon Cricket Club

Ashdon Cricket Club is a wonderful family-friendly club based in Ashdon in Essex. The club has been a valued asset of the village for over 70 years, with a fantastic pitch, pavilion and ground

They play Sunday and midweek cricket and new players and supporters are always welcome.

Saffron Walden Community YSC

In 2023 Saffron Walden Community Youth (boys) with Saffron Walden PSG (girls) merged creating a united football club for boys and girls at all development levels in Saffron Walden and the surrounding area. They are affiliated to Essex FA and have been awarded Essex FA’s Charter Standard Club of the year.

Saffron Walden Youth Darts

A great asset to the local community, Saffron Walden Youth Darts want to help as many 10–18 year olds realise their darting talents, giving them a place to practice, play and improve their abilities.

They help by providing a great team of experienced Coaches to help them through their darting journey.

Cornard Dynamos Youth FC

Established in 1972, the community youth football club provides footballing opportunities to boys and girls from the age of 5 to 18

The club provides a welcoming and positive environment to help forge a lifelong love of the beautiful game

Sudbury & District Cricket Club (the Talbots)

Formed in 1787, the Club’s home has been at Friars Street since 1891 which is a wonderful place to both play and watch cricket and provides a unique venue in the centre of the town.
The Club currently runs 4 / 5 Senior Men’s Teams at weekends, a Women’s Team on Friday nights, and we are delighted to support their vibrant Junior Section.

Diss Rugby Union Football Club

In February 1958 a small band of enthusiasts met in the Two Brewers at Diss, under the Chairmanship of Rev Kenyon, to discuss the possible formation of a Rugby Club.

Diss Rugby Club runs three senior teams, a veterans side, a ladies team called Diss Vixens and a full range of junior teams
