Former stunt car driver for Fast and Furious Live, Michelle Westby, well-known for her aggressive but controlled drifts, met up with the team at Treadfirst and Marketing Agency, Adtrak, so we could get to know the real woman behind such impressive motorsport career – and to see her talents in action!

AFC Sudbury

Formed in 1999 as an amalgamation of Sudbury Town and Sudbury Wanderers, AFC Sudbury ply their trade in the Ridgeons Premier League. Since their inception 21 years ago, they’ve provided fans with multiple league title wins and exciting cup journeys, and Treadfirst are proud to be associated with such a great team and important part of the community.

Sudbury Rugby Club

Sudbury Rugby Club are a brilliant organisation, with 24 teams ranging from men’s seniors to Under 6s and touch rugby teams for younger girls and boys.

Sudbury Bowls Club

The Sudbury Bowls Club was formed in 1913, and has become a proud institution since then, with bowlers participating in competitions at club, county and national level. The club also welcomes social players as well as competitive ones, and there’s a brilliant mix of experienced and novice players, all contributing to the welcoming, friendly atmosphere around the club.

Haverhill Borough FC

Haverhill Borough FC have enjoyed a rapid ascension through the leagues since starting life in 2011, moving into their new home ground, the 3G surfaces at New Croft, in 2017. Part of the brilliant football community around Haverhill, Borough have enjoyed multiple promotions and titles, scoring countless goals and embarking on incredible unbeaten runs and winning streaks along the way. Treadfirst are one of many proud sponsors of HBFC and we wish them every success.

Haverhill Golf Club

We’re delighted to be a partner of Haverhill Golf Club. Opening as a 9-hole course in 1976, Haverhill’s course is a resplendent setting that caters for the needs of the club’s many members, ranging from casual to competitive players alike. The clubhouse is the perfect place to relax after a round, whether you’re a skilled player or just getting to grips with the game.

Halstead Town FC

It’s an honour to be associated with Halstead Town FC, a football club over 140 years old, currently competing in the Thurlow Nunn First Division South. A rich history lines the 140 years of the club, including knocking teams from higher divisions out of the FA Vase and winning cups and trophies.

Diss Carnival

We love to support community events, and Diss Carnival is no different. Since 2017, the carnival has brought unrivalled joy and fun to the community, with rides, food and frolics available for carnival-goers of all ages.

Saffron Walden Round Table

We’re huge admirers of Saffron Walden Round Table and their commitment to and success in supporting local charities and initiatives. A fantastic club for men aged 18-45, the group meets regularly to socialise and organise fundraising events to support the community of Saffron Walden, including their much-loved ‘8 Day Weekend’ Carnival.

Saffron Walden Rugby Club

With teams ranging from senior XVs to U6s, Saffron Walden Rugby Club is the go-to organisation for rugby fans in the area. Founded in the 1960s, the club has won the Cambridgeshire Cup multiple times during 60 years of entertaining fans and members alike.

Ipswich Town FC

Fans of The Tractor Boys have experienced brilliant highs, including taking on the finest teams in the world in the Premier League, and winning some of the most sought after trophies in domestic and European football including the FA Cup and the UEFA Cup. Treadfirst are delighted to take part in regular open days at Portman Road – look out for our pitchside board when a match is on TV!

Needham Market FC

Needham Market FC boast excellent teams, including the mens and women’s senior sides, the disability team and teams catering for all age groups, from U18s to U9s. Treadfirst enjoy a proud association with the football club as they continue to provide a vital service for football fans, adults and young people alike.

Maxim Sports Coaching

Community coaching for 2-16 year olds, Maxim Sports Coaching are a hugely valuable part of the community. From dance clubs to the Little Feet football clubs, Maxim offer a variety of events to help children get active, make friends and enjoy themselves.

Henry Cox

18 year-old Henry is a very talented junior motocross rider from Sudbury. An apprentice electrician by trade, he’s taken his motocross talents to the Peterborough Junior PGMC, the Norfolk & Suffolk Junior Motorcycle Club and the East Anglian Schoolboys Scrambling club. This year, he’s been riding in the Eastern centre adults’ meetings – a testament to his skills.
This year is his last riding as a schoolboy, and he’s pushing to ride in the Expert classes. Riding his KTM125 at intermediate level, his talent is clear to see.

Ashley Shaw

Ashley Shaw has been racing on oval tracks since he was 8 years old, firstly starting in Ninja Karts and progressing to the Junior Hot Rod Formula. In 2020 Ashley became the Gold Roof Champion, the Southern Champion and the Points Champion. As of 2022, Ashley is now racing National Hot Rods. After Round 8, Ashley currently places at 9, if he qualifies within the top 16 he will go on to Speed Weekend at Ipswich, which is the world final.

Treadfirst proudly sponsors Team 32 which consists of, Ashley, the driver and his mechanic, who is also his dad, Reece, Treadfirst depot Manager at Stowmarket.

The Big Night Out

Fireworks are a treat for people of all ages, and The Big Night Out is a brilliant firework event taking place in Long Melford every year. As a sponsor, we’re always pleased to see the locals turn out for an evening of fun – while this year has presented unprecedented challenges, we’re looking forward to next year’s event.
