Took my car to Treadfirst this morning to diagnose a knocking sound. It turned out to be something easy to fix, a drop link, which they fitted an hour later. Amazed at the efficiency of the staff, and very happy with the price. Will definitely go to Treadfirst again.

I’ve used Saffron Walden Treadfirst for a no of years as always find their service and pricing very competitive. My most recent visit for an MOT was a challenge due to issues with my car but they were so helpful and directed me to the best way to get the work completed - they were very accommodating with the retest and fitted me in as soon as they could. Brandon was absolutely brilliant with the customer service and was so helpful to support along each step making a stressful experience (due to my car) as stress free and smooth as possible. All the team were great, and very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend if you want an honest garage in SW with superb and efficient service, thank you.

Yearly MOT and a couple of tyres today, prompt, friendly and efficient as always, used Treadfirst for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Edited Jan 2026, another MOT, squeezed me in a couple of days later to do the repairs needed to get it through, great service as always, professional and friendly staff are an asset to you!

Could not have been more helpful. Checked the pot-holed tyre and rim, re-ordered the tyre I'd incorrectly identified, spent longer than should be reasonable percevering with getting tyre insurance authorisation and communicated very well with me. Also competitively priced. Highly recommend

Absolutely the best! Treadfirst are reliable and have helped me out of a tight spot on several occasions, including MOT. Brilliant place so friendly. Delt with my punctured tyre so quickly, Had to have new tyre fitted which was so fairly priced, even told mechanic had just had alloys sprayed to take care.. He did, and done a great job. The lady at reception was so lovely and friendly, so I booked my service and mot there...highly rate Treadfirst. Brilliant.

Managed to fit me in on a busy day, my wheel locking nut was broken, they managed to get the spare wheel off, locate me a new set of bolts, and replace the tyre, very stressful day but the guys here made everything super easy, thanks again!
